The H Barracks property falls within the 65 dB Community Equivalent Noise Level zone of the San Diego International Airport (SDIA). The noise variance held by SDIA is granted by the California Department of Transportation and it explicitly prohibits the construction of residential housing, including homes or mobile homes, on this lot due to safety concerns for the auditory health of inhabitants.  Our team is working to get in touch with the CA DoT to further express our concerns.
